Ministerial eGovernment Conference 2005

Transforming Public Services

24-25 November 2005, Manchester, UK

 

Co-organised by the UK presidency of the EU and the European Commission, the Ministerial eGovernment Conference 2005 will bring together ministers and politicians responsible for eGovernment in EU Member States, European institutions and third countries, leading academics, and CEOs and senior managers from industry, with a view to discuss achievements and best practices and to analyse the future of eGovernment in Europe. The Conference will also host the eEurope Awards for the best European eGovernment implementations, and an exhibition will enable them to demonstrate their case and share their experience.

eGovernment 2010: Have your Say

 

As part of the i2010 initiative launched by the European Commission, an Action Plan for eGovernment will be proposed in 2006. To prepare this new Action Plan the Commission has launched an online consultation on the priorities for EU eGovernment policies for the next 5 years. All interested stakeholders are invited to take part in the consultation, which will be accessible until 04 December 2005 on the ?Your voice in Europe? consultation website.
